A charitable pledge is a contract between the donor and the university in which the donor agrees to make a contribution in the future. Discuss a memorandum of understanding with a member of the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Matching Gifts

Many companies will match the philanthropic gifts of current or retired employees as part of their employee benefit packages. Some companies may even match donations made by spouses. The match is usually made on an annual basis or up to a certain level. Learn more about matching gifts.

Gifts of stocks/securities

The preferred method of stock gifts is electronic transfer via our investment manager. Donors interested in making an electronic stock gift may contact the Office of Institutional Advancement for delivery instructions.

Donors sometimes wish to donate items of tangible personal property, goods and/or services as opposed to making a cash contributions.
